Can I see photos of additions you've built?
Absolutely. Visit our project gallery to see completed additions, or ask during your consultation and we will share photos and details from projects similar to yours.
Do you do designs too or do I need to hire an architect?
You do not need to hire anyone else. We handle design as part of our design build process, and when a project requires an architect or structural engineer, we coordinate that for you. One team and one point of contact from start to finish.
How do you tie my old house into the addition?
We match your existing rooflines, siding, trim, and finishes so the addition looks like it was always part of the home. Structurally, we tie the foundation and framing into your existing house per code, with flashing and weatherproofing done right so the connection never leaks.
What is your typical home addition size?
There is no typical size for us. We build everything from small bump outs that add a few feet to a kitchen to full second story additions. Whatever space you need, we can design and build it.
Are you licensed to do residential home additions?
Yes. FDC Construction WA LLC is a registered Washington general contractor authorized to build residential home additions. We carry the bond and insurance required by Washington State Labor and Industries, and our UBI number is listed at the bottom of this website so you can verify us anytime.
